I develop and advise businesses in Healthcare by education, by the expertise and by a lifetime vocation. I’ve been leading businesses in Healthcare Services, Pharma and Medical equipment for about 25 years, in global corporate environments managing more than 7000 people.
I’ve always been a catalyst in the process, who envisions direction, bridges gaps, optimizes resources and empowers people: from envisioning concrete technical solutions for particular business needs to advising upon commercial terms and setting up flawless medical fluxes.
I am a starter, a grower and a multiplier in business. I am an enthusiast and advocate of technology innovation for the benefit of humanity. Especially in the field of medical equipment, where innovation delivers a huge impact on people’s lives.
As an MD by education and a business leader by profession, I believe healthcare will have the greatest share of disruption in the near future and this future has to find us at least open in mindset, if not prepared. Open to the never-tried-before, to new paradigms of thinking, relating and producing value.
The challenges ahead of us can only be tackled within a visionary mindset rooted in the deepest of knowledge and managed within an agile framework of thinking and relating in business.
I grew the businesses through figures, people, assets and numbers of lives saved or changed for better. I have the privilege to contribute to a better and longer life for patients.
This is an honour, a duty and a daily bread.

My Guiding Principles in Business
Commitment to the initiative, loyalty throughout the process and ethics all the way.
Businesses must deliver trust. That’s the ultimate fulcrum. And healthcare businesses make no exception.
I believe that once you start a challenge, it is part of that very challenge to continue no matter how hard it is.
Dedication to the job to be done, to the word that has just been given and to the people you surround yourself with are paramount in my professional life.
Healthcare as a larger than life field has a fundamental need: the need to create, feed and grow reliability and ethics beyond anything.
And there’s a lot of work here.
Creativity and no fear for the never-tried-before in business.
I am fascinated by progress, by the innovation that people bring disruptively or incrementally to other people.
I strive daily to keep the pace with new technologies as the medical field must nurture and feed on innovation.
But as much as medical equipment and technology progress, we need to find ways to bring them closer to people and make them work for a better health for the many.
Otherwise, it’s nothing but wasted effort.

The power to anticipate the future - and by this to co-create it – is not a skill but a gift.
Managers, leaders, entrepreneurs who see hurdles in the system need to change lenses most of the times:
look no longer here, close to the issue, not even to its root cause, but have the end in mind and take glances to what seems far fetched and un-natural. The “natural” is our comfort zone, while solutions lie beyond it most of the times.
I believe in quantum leaps, when small changes deliver no longer to the purpose. The sooner, the better.
Fairness and honesty in approaching people and situations.
There is nothing beyond fairness in a game. And business is a game; a game with a purpose.
I bet on transparency, openness, sincerity and the power to listen truly before issuing opinions.
Uncomfortable truth timely told is a blissful hygiene.
Candor is maybe hard to deliver, but it pays off on all sides.
